The invention provides propene polymer and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps of (S1) mixing ethene, a first external electron donor, a catalyst, a co-catalyst and propene and performing first polymerization reaction to obtain a first product system which comprises a first polymer; (S2) mixing a second external electron donor, the catalyst, the co-catalyst and propene and performing second polymerization reaction to obtain a second product system which comprises a second polymer; and (S3) mixing the first product system and the second product system to obtain propene polymer. The catalyst comprises at least one internal electron donor; the co-catalyst is an organic aluminum compound; and hydrogen sensitivity of the second external donor is higher than that of the first external donor. The prepared propene polymer has wide molecular weight distribution and high isotacticity.
