The invention relates to a novel high-crystalline plasterboard and a preparation method thereof and belongs to the technical field of interior decoration building materials. The novel high-crystalline plasterboard has the advantages of simple raw materials, low water absorption and excellent water resistance and can be widely used in a zone with high humidity. The novel high-crystalline plasterboard comprises, by weight, 40-50 parts of alabaster powder, 10-15 parts of light calcium powder, 5-10 parts of 425 white cement, 3-8 parts of alkali-free glass fibers, 3-5 parts of plant fibers and 2-3 parts of a waterproof agent. The novel high-crystalline plasterboard resists wear, has excellent water resistance and can be widely used in a zone such as a toilet, a bath chamber and a kitchen with large humidity.
