The invention discloses a video image information processing method and apparatus. The video image information processing method comprises thefollowing steps: obtaining case information and video image information, wherein case information concerns incident information and the video image information is related to the case information; associating the video image information with the case information. According to the embodiments of the invention, the technical problem can be solved that in the prior art, a police affair integration system can not properly associate acquired video images from monitoring cameras to case information.
