Summary:The invention discloses a buffer memory data cleaning method and an apparatus. The method comprises steps of determining whether a pre-set delete condition is met for memory stored in an intelligent terminal while receiving a buffer memory data deleting order, deleting buffer memory data meeting the pre-set deleting condition, and deleting buffer memory data when the buffer memory data does not meet the pre-set deleting condition, wherein the pre-set deleting condition comprises a buffer memory data storage condition, a buffer memory data visit condition, a buffer memory data storage time and a buffer memory data index table state. The invention further discloses a buffer memory data cleaning apparatus. Buffer memory data can be selectively and rationally cleaned. A problem of inadequate storage space due to large buffer memory data can be solved without an effect on buffer memory data storage; storage space can be saved; and system performance can be improved.
