Summary: | The invention provides a method for selecting a near-Earth asteroid as a detection target. The method for selecting the near-Earth asteroid as the detection target comprises the steps of establishing an asteroid orbit and physical property parameter database; conducting estimation on pulse velocity increment required for transferring from the Earth to an asteroid orbit; removing targets which are larger than a designated threshold value in the database such as an absolute star; removing targets pulse velocity increment estimation values of which are larger than the designated threshold value in remaining results; removing targets detection task cycles of which are larger than the designated threshold value in the remaining results; selecting targets of C type and M type spectrum from the remaining results; arraying asteroids in the remaining results from large to small, and taking the asteroid which ranks the front as the preferred target. The method can be used for screening a target near-Earth asteroid engaged in spaceflight detection task and is an effective means of selecting the asteroid target rapidly. |
