Summary: | The invention relates to a method for preparing a surface layer in the investment casting shell making process through a mullite material. In the precise investment casting production process and in the shell making process, mostly, a zirconium silicate material and a corundum material serve as a surface layer material, but the zirconium silicate material and the corundum material are expensive, large in use level and high in cost. In the investment casting production process at the casting temperature below 800 DEG C, mullite sand powder is adopted as the shell making surface layer material through an attempt, and through repeated tests and adjustment, the technical effect the same as that of the zirconium silicate material and the corundum material is achieved finally; and therefore the production cost of investment casting of the kind is greatly reduced, and an efficient novel process is provided for production of non-ferrous casting shell making. |
