The invention discloses a plant factory with the function of detecting the concentration of nitrate ions. The plant factory comprises a culture-solution tank, metering pumps, fertilizer barrels, a timing switch, a raw-water barrel, a pipeline and a control board assembly, wherein a culture-solution tank filter screen, a liquid-level sensor and a nitrate-concentration sensor are arranged in the culture-solution tank; one end of the pipeline is arranged on the right side of the culture-solution tank filter screen in the culture-solution tank; the other end of the pipeline is connected with a stop valve and a plurality of counterbalance valves respectively; each metering pump is arranged between one counterbalance valve and the corresponding fertilizer barrel; a second water pump is arranged between the stop valve and the raw-water barrel; the timing switch is connected with the counterbalance valves and the stop valve respectively; the control board assembly comprises a display screen, an operation panel and a controller; the controller is connected with a liquid-level sensor and the nitrate-concentration sensor respectively. The plant factory disclosed by the invention can automatically supply a nutrient solution in proportion, can detect the concentration of nitrate ions and control the concentration to a certain degree. The plant factory is intuitional in detecting results, and simple to operate.
