The invention discloses a triggering method of achieving cluster group calls based on an IMS framework. The method comprises the following steps that group call filtering criteria gFC are stored in an HSS database; when the call request of a group user reaches an S-CSCF, the S-CSCF screens the matching group call filtering criteria gFC from the HSS database; the S-CSCF sends the call request to group-related application servers to form a plurality of call requests; the S-CSCF makes the formed call requests sequentially sent according to the group call filtering criteria gFC priorities from high to low to application servers corresponding to each group call filtering criterion gFC for triggering; and the S-CSCF sends each formed call request to the corresponding group user to achieve triggering of the whole group call service. By means of the method, multiple group users can be made to rapidly join in the same conversation. A call initiator can communicate with multiple group users without doing any operations.
