The invention discloses a method for realizing three times handshake on a UBOOT (Universal Boot Loader). The method comprises following steps; S1: configuring a networking device to enter Uboot mode; S2: The networking device receives and decodes the data packages from a client terminal and determines if the data packages are with SYN zone bit or not. If they are data packages with SYN zone bit, then data packages with ACK+SYN zone bit are sent to the client terminal. S3: A storing unit stores all data packages with SYN code bits. S4: The networking device judges if the data packages fed back from the client terminal are data packages with ACK zone bit or not. It the data packages are with ACK zone bit, then go on for step 5. S5: If the data packages received and judged by the networking device are identical to those stored in the storing unit, the networking device judges whether the received data packages are identical to the data packages stored in the storing unit, if so, it is indicated that three times handshake succeeds. In the invention, TCP/IP three times handshake is realized under a Uboot mode which enables a user to visit a webpage under a Uboot mode. At the same time, protection is provided for the three times handshake which makes the handshake more stable.
