The invention relates to an electronic lock capable of preventing people from forgetting to take a key. The electronic lock comprises a lock body and the key corresponding to the lock body, wherein the lock body comprises a lock core and a clamping block capable of being clamped into the lock core; a prompt module is arranged on the key, and comprises a prompt instrument and a controller capable of controlling the prompt instrument to send a prompt message; a main inductor is arranged on the lock core of the electronic lock; an auxiliary inductor is arranged at a place, corresponding to the main inductor, of the clamping block; when the main inductor is not contacted with the auxiliary inductor, the main inductor outputs a signal to the controller; and after the controller receives the signal output by the main inductor, the controller controls the prompt instrument to send the prompt message. According to the electronic lock capable of preventing the people from forgetting to take the key, when a door is opened, the key can send the prompt message to remind the people of taking the key, thereby preventing the occurrence of a case that the people forget to take the key after opening the door and going out.
