Summary:A disclosed iron oxide black pigment for polishing is characterized by being prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 80-100 parts of modified iron oxide black, 4-6 parts of graphite powder, 4-6 parts of cerium oxide, 0.3-0.5 part of sodium dodecyl sulfate, 6-8 parts of sodium silicate, 0.1-0.2 part of azodiisobutyronitrile, 10-15 parts of styrene, 0.5-1 part of erucamide, 0.5-1 part of polyoxyethylene isooctyl ether phosphate, and 2-4 parts of white mineral oil. The iron oxide black pigment is high in tinting strength, good in temperature tolerance and weatherability, easy to disperse, good in processability, good in polishing capability and smooth finish, and excellent in hardness, and is applicable to polished products.
