Summary:The invention relates to a glass measuring system. The glass measuring system comprises a conveying line for conveying flat glass, first and second in-place detecting devices arranged in the conveying direction of the conveying line in sequence at intervals for acquiring glass data, and a control device, wherein a measuring device and an ink-jet printer are respectively arranged besides the first and second in-place detecting devices; and the control device controls operation states of the conveying line, the measuring device and the ink-jet printer according to signals detected by the first and second in-place detecting devices. As the glass measuring system measures the transverse and longitudinal sizes of the flat glass online, and the ink-jet printer sprays codes representing the size information thereof on the glass, the subsequent glass sorting and preparation are convenient, the error is prevented, and the production efficiency is improved.
