Summary:The invention discloses an indoor positioning system and a positioning method based on footstep perception. The system comprises footstep perception devices and an intelligent terminal, wherein each footstep perception device comprises an acceleration sensor, a gyroscope and a first communication module; the intelligent terminal comprises a processor, a second communication module and a display screen, and an indoor map can be loaded onto the intelligent terminal. The footstep perception devices are embedded into foot wearing objects of a user and used for collecting perception data of step moving of the user in real time and transmitting the perception data to the intelligent terminal through the communication module. The intelligent terminal is used for perceiving moving behaviors of the user according to the collected perception data, estimating a possible reference position according to the special behavior mode of the user, estimating the moving direction and moving distance of the user according to the collected perception data, calculating out the moving track of the user and determining the moving track of the user in an indoor map by combining the topological structure of the indoor map and the reference position, so as to realize the purpose of indoor positioning.
