Summary: | The invention discloses a method for machining a TC4 thin-wall titanium alloy ring piece. The method includes the following steps that first, TC4 titanium alloy blank is heated to 50-70 DEG C below the phase transformation point for heat preservation; second, upsetting, punching and broaching are sequentially conducted on the TC4 titanium alloy blank which is subjected to heat preservation, so that TC4 titanium alloy ring blank is obtained; third, the TC4 titanium alloy ring blank is returned to a furnace while the blank is hot, and the TC4 titanium alloy ring blank is heated to 50-70 DEG C below the phase transformation point for heat preservation; fourth, after rolling and air cooling are conducted on the TC4 titanium alloy ring blank which is subjected to heat preservation, a semi-finished TC4 titanium alloy ring piece is obtained; fifth, the semi-finished TC4 titanium alloy ring piece is subjected to heat preservation for 30-60 minutes at the temperature of 700-800 DEG C, air cooling is carried out, and accordingly the TC4 thin-wall titanium alloy ring piece with the wall thickness being not larger than 40 mm is obtained. The TC4 thin-wall titanium alloy ring piece machined through the method is even in tissue, excellent in mechanical property and capable of completely meeting the index requirement of the TC4 thin-wall titanium alloy ring piece. |
