Summary:The invention provides a heat removal and insulation assembly which is included in an image forming device consisting of an image forming unit arranged along the bottom of a frame body and a fixation unit and is used for preventing heat generated by heating and fixation of a printing medium conveyed by the fixation unit along a conveying path from flowing to the image forming unit and removing the heat from the frame body. The heat removal and insulation assembly is characterized by comprising a heat removal supporting structural member which is used as a part of the bottom, is used for supporting the printing medium conveyed by the image forming unit to the fixation unit along the conveying path and is provided with a side wall part close to the fixation unit and side wall heat removal holes formed in the side wall part, and a heat insulation plate structural member which is arranged between the image forming unit and the fixation unit and is positioned above the conveying path and is provided with one end close to the heat removal supporting structural member and the other end extending to the frame body.
