The invention discloses a device for isolating and inhibiting algae floating in surface regions of lakes and reservoirs. The device comprises a fence partition board arranged at one side of a water taking tower, wherein the bottom face of the fence partition board is arranged in a mixed layer of a lake/reservoir water body; a grid is arranged above the fence partition board; floating balls are mounted at nodes of the grid; the edge of the grid is fixedly connected with a mountain on the bank of a lake/reservoir; an aerating system is arranged below the grid. The device is provided with the fence partition board and the aerating system; an alga control region is formed inside and used for blocking outside algae from entering the alga control region, so that the number of algae entering the water taking tower is reduced and the water quality of raw material conveyed to a water purifying plant by a water outlet pipe is very high; a shading net is arranged above the grid and used for shading an incident light source in the alga control region and cutting off the photosynthesis of algae, thereby inhibiting the growth of alga grains on the surface of the alga control region, stopping the induction effect of light on mobile alga grains in a weak-light region and preventing algae at the lower part from floating up.
