Summary:The invention relates to the field of steel structure manufacturing and welding, in particular to a technology of middle sheet back submerged-arc welding without back chipping. The technology of middle sheet back submerged-arc welding without back chipping comprises the following steps of assembling before welding: performing flame cutting on a middle sheet to form an X-shaped groove under the conditions that the size of a root face is 4mm, alignment tolerance is within 1mm and the width of a welding line is within 0.5mm; backing weld of a front surface: performing backing weld on a front surface of the groove by using a solid core welding wire gas shield welding mode under the condition that the welding line is not burnt through in a welding process; submerged-arc welding of the front surface: performing submerged-arc welding on the front surface of the groove by using small current; and submerged-arc welding of a back surface: performing direct large current submerged-arc welding without back chipping on the back surface of the groove. The technology has the advantages that by the technology, the production efficiency is greatly improved, the production cost is low, the welding quality is stable, environmental pollution is little, and the technology is suitable to be popularized and used in the industry.
