Summary: | The invention discloses a bus connecting device of a medium voltage switchgear and a method of connecting a bus by utilizing the bus connecting device. The bus connecting device comprises iron cores, connecting copper clamping plates, spring coils and limiting bolts; the iron cores are respectively inserted and fixed into a right hole and a left hole of each connecting copper clamping plate; the surfaces of the spring coils are coated with insulating coatings; the spring coils are wound on the iron cores, and are in contact with the connecting copper clamping plates, and the two spring coils are communicated; and two buses are clamped and fixed together by utilizing two connecting copper clamping plates, the limiting bolts and the spring coils. According to the bus connecting device, buses of two unit switch cabinets can be quickly connected together, so that the bus connecting device is simple to operate; the larger current that passes through the buses, the greater the clamping force of the connecting device, and the more reliable the connection between the buses, and therefore, the bus connecting device is a very reliable connecting mode. |
