Summary:A parallel axle transmission adopting a wheel axle structure and consisting of multiple idler wheel gears is called as a multiwheel axle-structured transmission for short; and under the combined action of a multi-wheel axle structure of the multiwheel axle-structured transmission and fitting spline hub sleeve axle mechanism, two-way overrunning clutch mechanism and tooth embedded clutch mechanism, 12 forward gears and 4 reverse gears are reached in the size range of a traditional transmission. The multiwheel axle-structured transmission comprises an input shaft, a multiwheel axle, an intermediate shaft and an output shaft arranged in parallel, and corresponding gears and clutch devices. The multiwheel axle-structured transmission has the following characteristics: (1) the ratio of the gear number to the gear number is the minimum, so that the size of the transmission is relatively the minimum; (2) the ratio of gear shifting control elements to the gear number is the minimum, so that the structure of the transmission is relatively simple; (3) the total tooth ratio range is widened; and the vehicle power performance is improved; (4) the gears are dense and reasonable; and the gear shifting smoothness and the fuel economy are improved; and (5) a torsion increasing gear set is arranged for bearing higher torque.
