Summary:The invention provides a method for supporting serial port and interface communication protocol stacks of a TCP and a UDP at the same time. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps that a communication mode for connecting a remote server is set; according to the set communication mode, a SOCKET receiving thread is started to receive data of the remote server; a serial port receiving thread is started to receive serial port data. The invention further provides a device for supporting the serial port and interface communication protocol stacks of the TCP and the UDP at the same time. When a system is started, the remote server is sought by calling local configuration, the communication mode of equipment and the remote server is automatically set, and therefore communication with remote servers of different types is achieved faster.
