Summary:Systems, methods, and apparatus are disclosed for preventing formation of ice on an engine. Apparatus may include a nozzle housing (300) coupled to a compression stage of the engine and further coupled to a leading edge housing of the engine. The nozzle housing (300) may receive gases from the compression stage of the engine. The nozzle housing (300) may include a first nozzle (308) that may be configured to generate a first flow pattern and may be further configured to generate a first flow of a first portion of the gases into the leading edge housing based on the first flow pattern. The nozzle housing (300) may also include a second nozzle (310) that includes a concentric nozzle configured to generate a second flow pattern. The second nozzle (310) may be configured to generate a second flow of a second portion of the gases into the leading edge housing based on the second flow pattern.
