The invention provides herbal alcohol for external injuries. The herbal alcohol is prepared from, by weight, 30-40 parts of centipeda minima, 30-40 parts of pine inner layer bark, 20-25 parts of melia azedarach leaves, 8-12 parts of safflower carthamus and 1000-2000 parts of white spirit. The invention further provides a preparation method of the herbal alcohol for external injuries. The preparation method comprises the following steps that first, the following raw materials including, by weight, 30-40 parts of the centipeda minima, 30-40 parts of the pine inner layer bark, 20-25 parts of the melia azedarach leaves, 8-12 parts of the safflower carthamus and 1000-2000 parts of the white spirit are prepared; second, the centipeda minima, the pine inner layer bark, the melia azedarach leaves and the safflower carthamus are placed in a vessel containing the white spirit and are soaked for more than one year after being sealed, and accordingly the herbal alcohol for external injuries can be obtained. The herbal alcohol for external injuries has the advantages that the herbal alcohol is applicable to the treatment of external injuries, the therapeutic effect is good, the recovery time is short, and the preparation method and the treatment method are simple.
