Summary: | Various coffee capsules are known in the prior art. The most well-known capsules consist of an aluminium body having a sealing foil. The body is of conical construction such that the body can be ejected from a brewing machine. At the capsule base there is a protruding rim. Said rim is needed for the brewing machine to be able to approach the capsule and form a seal therewith, in order to subsequently be able to inject hot water at pressure into the capsule. The aim of the invention is to provide an improvement of or an alternative to the prior art. The present patent application puts forward numerous inventive approaches, in particular in respect of the choice of material and the geometry of the capsule. |
