Summary:The invention discloses a method for stopping a cell under the situation of no power-off of an aluminum electrolytic cell. The method comprises the following steps: 1), preparing a cell stopping tool; 2) replacing a short circuit port insulating rod by using an iron screw rod with an insulating sleeve; 3) viewing the horizontal bus height of the cell to be stopped; 4) taking an electrolyte and gradually reducing the cell voltage to below 1.10 V; 5) cleanly blowing accumulated dust at a short circuit port by using a high-pressure air pipe; 6) taking out an insulating plug board and remaining a transverse insulating plug board; 7) cleaning the accumulated dust at the short circuit port by using the high-pressure air pipe again; 8) measuring the pressure drop of the short circuit port; 9) taking out the transverse insulating plug board; 10) measuring the pressure drop of the short circuit port; 11) lifting anodes; 12) measuring the pressure drop of the short circuit port again; 13) picking up the tool to complete the groove stopping operation. The method disclosed by the invention is reasonable in design; all the anodes of the cell to be stopped are directly lowered, so that bottom palms of the anodes are completely immersed into molten aluminum in the cell to perform the direct short circuit operation of the short circuit port, and therefore, huge gains are brought to electrolytic aluminum production.
