Summary: | The invention provides a gigabit switch SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable transceiver) interface rate self-adaptation method, which is characterized by comprising the following steps: a SFP quick recognition module recognizes a SFP module; a port rate adapter switching module switches a switch chip port mode according to the SFP module; and an upper-layer application program interface is configured. The invention also provides a gigabit switch SFP interface rate self-adaptation device. The SFP quick recognition module is used for recognizing whether the SFP module is plugged and information is read after plugging, the type of a SFP light module is read, whether the interface needed for the SFP light module is in a SGMII (Serial Gigabit Media Independent Interface) mode or in a SERDES (SERializer/DESerializer) mode is obtained, an API interface capable of configuration and information reading is provided for a command line and network management, the SFP module can be compatible with multiple gigabit switch interfaces, interface configuration conversion does not need to be carried out again, and the use efficiency is improved. |
