Summary:The invention relates to a step soft meshing starter. The starter comprises an electronic control device, an electromagnetic switch and a motor which are sequentially connected. The electronic control device comprises a control input terminal, a first output terminal, a second output terminal, a first power tube, a second power tube and a logic control module. The control input terminal is connected with a power source terminal of the electromagnetic switch, and the first output terminal is connected to the head ends of an attraction coil and a holing coil of the electromagnetic switch; the second output terminal is connected with an input terminal of the motor; the first power tube is arranged between the control input terminal and the first output terminal, and the second power tube is arranged between the control input terminal and the second output terminal; the logic control module controls the first power tube and/or the second power tube to be conducted/not conducted/stopped according to the powering-on time of the starter and the terminal voltage of the starter; and a current-limiting resistor is arranged between the second power tube and the input terminal of the motor, so that when the second power tube is conducted, the motor can generate step torque. According to the step soft meshing starter, the flexible meshing success rate of the starter can be effectively improved, and the failure rate caused by abnormal reasons is reduced.
