The invention discloses equipment for cutting a metal wire. The equipment comprises a guiding mechanism, a cutting device, a blanking part, a rotating disc conveying device, an adsorption conveying device and a conveying mechanism. The cutting device and the blanking part form a cutting mechanism. The rotating disc conveying device and the adsorption conveying device form a transferring mechanism. According to the technical scheme, the guiding mechanism guides the metal wire on a coiling block continuously to the position below an upper cutter on the cutting device, the transferring mechanism transfers metal wire sections which are cut off by the upper cutter to a bearing plate of the conveying mechanism continuously, and after the bearing plate or a container on the bearing plate is fully loaded, the metal wire sections are conveyed to a preset working position or conveyed out of the metal wire cutting equipment through a conveying track of the conveying mechanism. Accordingly, the equipment for cutting the metal wire achieves full-automatic cutting and conveying of the metal wire sections, and the cutting efficiency of the metal wire sections is improved.
