The invention relates to a spot inspection method for a tool. The spot inspection method comprises the following steps of obtaining spot inspection data, wherein the spot inspection data comprise a tool owner and tool data corresponding to the tool owner; receiving an input spot inspection confirmation message, wherein the spot inspection confirmation message is corresponding to the tool owner; receiving a spot inspection command; generating a spot inspection result according to the spot inspection confirmation message, obtaining a spot inspection time corresponding to the spot inspection command, obtaining a spot inspection person corresponding to the spot inspection command, screening the tool owner with the spot inspection result as a spot-inspected person, generating spot inspection information according to the spot inspection time, the spot inspection person, the spot-inspected person and the spot inspection result, and storing the spot inspection information to a spot inspection information management table; showing the spot inspection information in a form of the table. According to the spot inspection method for the tool, the important spot inspection information is extracted from the various spot inspection data and is clearly showed through the table, so that the convenience for viewing the spot inspection information is improved. The invention also provides a spot inspection system for the tool.
