Summary: | The present invention relates to a high-carbon steel drill chuck nut made by use of powder metallurgic process and its manufacturing technology. The carbon content of the nut is 1.0-1.3%. It contains boles amounted to 9-14 percent of its volume, and these holes are infiltrated with a certain amount of lubricating oil. As the drill chuck nut is made by using this technological process, its material utilization coefficient can be up to 70% and the raw material cost can be greatly reduced. Both the mechanical property of parts can be improved and the nut may be self-lubricated during use, therefore the service life of parts can be effectively prolonged. |
