Summary: | The invention discloses a high-capacity lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system and a modeling method thereof. The battery energy storage system is formed by connecting N modularized battery energy-storage subsystems in parallel, and each energy-storage subsystem is composed of a battery system and a power conversion system. The modeling method comprises that according to the know performance parameters of the lithium iron phosphate battery, the mathematical relation between the performance parameters of each single battery and the performance parameters of the high-capacity battery system is determined by utilizing characteristics of serial/parallel connection circuits and charging and discharging of the battery system, a battery system model is established based on the battery charged state, a battery energy storage subsystem model is modularized by combining a power conversion system model, and a model of the high-capacity lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system is obtained by via parallel connection and expansion of the energy storage subsystems. The established energy storage system model can effectively simulate the charging and discharging characteristics of the high-capacity lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system; and the modeling method of the invention can be applied to the lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system as well as other types of energy storage systems. |
