A device capable of photographing and a display apparatus are provided. The present invention relates to the device capable of photographing, which includes a housing, a photographing module, a covering member and a driving module. The housing is provided with a photographing window penetrating therethrough, the photographing module is configured in the housing and corresponding to the photographing window, the covering member is configured at the photographing window and corresponding to the photographing module, and the covering member has a variable light transmittance. The driving module is electrically connected to the covering member, wherein when the driving module is switched to a first driving mode, the light transmittance of the covering member is relatively increased; and when the driving module is switched to a second driving mode, the light transmittance of the covering member is relatively reduced. The device and apparatus of the present invention not only has an aesthetic sense of the device, but also prevents the privacy of the user from being damaged, moreover, the occupation of the internal space of the device is reduced, and the cost is lowered.
