Summary:The invention discloses a switching structure and an electronic device employing the switching structure. The electronic device is provided with a housing; the switching structure is located on the inner side of a key part of the housing, and comprises an elastic piece, a force transmission piece and a strain sensing element; the elastic piece is connected with the housing; the force transmission piece is arranged on the inner side of the housing; the strain sensing element is arranged on the elastic piece; the strain sensing element and the force transmission piece are located on the two opposite sides of the elastic piece respectively; and when the outer side of the key part is subject to an external force, the elastic piece deforms through the force transmission piece.
