Provided is a mounting structure for a cylindrical packing, the mounting structure being capable of facilitating the fitting of the cylindrical packing over a fitting cylinder section and being capable of improving the sealing performance of the cylindrical packing. The inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical packing (40) is provided with: an intermediate section inner peripheral surface (421) which is fitted over, and in close contact with, an intermediate section outer peripheral surface (321); and end section inner peripheral surfaces (422, 423) which are formed at both ends of the intermediate section inner peripheral surface (421) in the front-rear direction so as to have a smaller diameter than the intermediate section inner peripheral surface (421) and which are fitted over end section outer peripheral surfaces (322, 323). Engagement grooves (425) with which ridges (325) can engage are provided in the end section inner peripheral surfaces (422, 423) at both ends so as to extend in the front-rear direction. The gap between the fitting cylindrical section (32) and the cylindrical packing (40) is sealed to be watertight by the close contact between the intermediate section outer peripheral surface (321) and the intermediate section inner peripheral surface (421).
