Summary: | The invention discloses a magnetorheological damper with a coil arranged outside. The magnetorheological damper comprises a work cylinder, a piston head, a piston rod and an electromagnet coil assembly. The work cylinder is filled with magnetorheological fluid, the electromagnet coil assembly is mounted on the outer side of the work cylinder, the piston head is sleeved with the work cylinder, one end of the piston head is connected to the piston rod, a motion compensation cavity is formed in the other end of the piston head, and a compensation rod is arranged in the motion compensation cavity in a sliding mode. In the process that the piston head moves in the working cylinder, the compensation rod goes in and out of the motion compensation cavity to carry out cubage compensation. The magnetorheological damper with the coil arranged outside is simple and compact in structure, high in airtightness, good in damping effect and long in service life, and structure design is free of limitation of the space in the work cylinder. |
