The invention discloses a control system and a control method of an automobile door. A displacement sensor is additionally arranged on the outer side of the automobile door, when the automobile door is opened, the displacement sensor is used for constantly detecting the distance between the automobile door and an obstacle; when the distance value between the automobile door and the obstacle is smaller than the value of the radius of the automobile door, an automotive electronic control unit is used for controlling a locking part to lock a sliding rail in a sliding chute, so that the automobile door can be prevented from colliding with peripheral buildings or other vehicles when opened after the automobile stops; the safety of the overall automobile is improved; and the overall automobile performance is further enhanced along with improvement of the safety performance.
