Summary: | A system can include one or more valve arrangements (12, 240, 242, 244, 246, 410, 510, 312, 314, or 316) with a working chamber (W) to receive a working fluid at a first pressure, and a control chamber (C) to receive fluid at a second pressure. A dynamic seal (58 or 420) can be disposed on a land (55 or 451) of a valve element (22 or 420). The valve arrangement may include a sleeve (450) against which the dynamic seal is slidably engaged. The valve element may include a check stem (480). A pressure compensating system (500) may be in communication with bores formed in with the valve element. A pressure-monitoring system (99) to monitor dynamic seal wear may be in communication with the control chamber of the valve arrangement. |
