The chest with the monitoring system comprises a chest body (1), a power supply device (2) connected with indoor mains supply is arranged on the top of the chest body (1), and a card-inserted monitoring camera (3), a control switch (4) and an infrared inductive switch (5) are sequentially connected and arranged at the upper end of the chest body (1), wherein the card-inserted monitoring camera (3) has an automatic video recording and storing function. The control switch (4) and the infrared inductive switch (5) are connected with the power supply device. According to the chest with the monitoring system, the automatic monitoring and video recording function is added to a traditional chest, the indoor security and protection monitoring problem when people go out is solved, detection of criminal events of stealing and the like can be promoted by collecting videos of a site with things stolen, and security of society is maintained.
