The invention provides a color filter which comprises a substrate, and a plurality of color resistors arranged on the substrate at intervals, wherein each color resistor comprises two edge parts and a main body part positioned between the two edge parts; the film thickness of at least one edge part of at least one color resistor is greater than that of the main body part of the color resistor so as to reduce the light transmittance of the edge part; in a liquid crystal display device using the color filter, when light rays of a certain pixel are deflected and enter the edge parts of the color resistor corresponding to the adjacent pixel, the edge parts of the color resistor can block part of the deflected light rays from penetrating through the color resistor due to the reduction of the light transmittance, so that the phenomenon of color offset can be improved.
