The invention provides a permission management system for an infrared dome camera. The permission management system comprises a management module, a first infrared dome camera body and a second infrared dome camera body, wherein the management module comprises a PTZ control permission module, a function setting permission module, a power-off allowance permission module and a factory setting permission module; the first infrared dome camera body comprises a signal processing module and a signal acquisition module; and the PTZ control permission module, the function setting permission module, the power-off allowance permission module and the factory setting permission module are connected with the signal processing module of the first infrared dome camera body respectively. The permission management system has the beneficial effects that operation of the infrared dome camera can be better maintained; error operation is reduced, and video recording of the dome camera is protected; and monitoring management becomes more scientific.
