Summary:The invention relates to the field of steel rail detection and discloses a method for measuring the resistivity of a steel rail. The method comprises the following steps: a, sampling, wherein long-strip-shaped samples are cut from a rail head, a rail web and a rail bottom of the to-be-measured steel rail in a length direction of the steel rail respectively, and the samples are processed to enable cross sections of the samples to be uniform; b, measurement of each sample and calculation of resistivity, wherein four contact points A1, A2, A3 and A4 are selected in sequence in a length direction of the sample, current I is introduced between the contact point A1 and the contact point A4, voltage V between the contact point A2 and the contact point A3 is measured, and the resistivity of the sample can be calculated through a formula described in the specification. The method for measuring the resistivity of the steel rail adopts a four-point resistance measurement technology for performing resistance measurement and overcomes a shortcoming of a big error in the prior art; moreover, different parts of the steel rail are selected during sample measurement, so that a measurement result can comprehensively reflect a resistivity distribution situation of different parts of the steel rail and important technical parameters are provided for further researching, detecting and improving steel rail performance.
