Summary:The invention discloses a gas cooling washing device which comprises a housing, a gas guide pipe and a bubbling liquid pool arranged at the lower part of the housing, wherein a gas inlet and a gas outlet are formed at the upper part of the housing; the gas guide pipe is communicated with the gas inlet and extends into the bubbling liquid pool; a first-stage cooling washing part is arranged at the upper end of the gas guide pipe; the gas cooling washing device further comprises a second-stage cooling washing part for cooling and washing fine ash entrained in gas; the second-stage cooling washing part is arranged in an annular space between the housing and the gas guide pipe and is located above the liquid level of the bubbling liquid pool and under the outlet of the gas. Due to adoption of a double-spray manner, the gas cooling washing device disclosed by the invention can separate fine ash entrained in a gas phase of coarse synthesis gas, wherein the grain size of the fine ash is greater than 300 microns. The heat mass transfer effect is improved and the treatment load of subsequent equipment is alleviated.
