Summary: | The invention discloses a rapid film-forming dust suppressant for a building construction site. The rapid film-forming dust suppressant comprises a sodium alginate solution with the mass concentration of 0.70%-1.0% and a calcium chloride solution with the mass concentration of 7.0%-8.0%, and the use ratio of the sodium alginate solution to the calcium chloride solution is 1: (0.75-0.90). According to the rapid film-forming dust suppressant for the building construction site, the plant extract sodium alginate reacts with anhydrous calcium chloride, a thin film is rapidly formed on the soil surface and covers and solidifies surface dust to suppress blowing dust, the dust suppression efficiency can be higher than 99%, and the dust suppressant is low in cost, environment-friendly, non-toxic and harmless and can be used for controlling blowing dust in the urban building construction site; the calcium alginate film formed by the dust suppressant has good moisture absorption and water retention performance, the water absorption performance can be increased by ten times by means of the dust suppressant, the moisture content of soil consolidation is kept higher than 11% for a long time and is higher than the critical moisture content of blowing dust, and the critical moisture content of blowing dust is 4%. After the dust suppressant is used, wind-erosion resistance and water-erosion resistance of a bare soil layer are remarkably improved, and blast blowing or water flow scour cannot cause surface film damage or dust suppression effect reduction. |
