The invention discloses a control method for automatic memory polishing of a rail grinding train main line and relates to the technical field of rail grinding train control. According to the control method, by memory of origin and end position information of a grinding operation section and actions of a grinding motor, a grinding control system automatically controls a grinding system to complete rail grinding in a set grinding mode in the back-and-forth envelope grinding process of the grinding operation section. Compared with the prior art in which the grinding mode needs to be set manually and the grinding control system is controlled manually by manpower to further control the grinding system to perform grinding operation, the control method is simpler in grinding operation, shorter in operation time, lower in labor intensity and higher in grinding accuracy.
