Summary:The invention relates to a method for transmitting measurement and/or control data between a medical technology system and a system-external control device. The system-external control device communicates with a system-internal function assembly of the medical technology system through a system-internal interface simulating unit of the medical technology system. The system-external control device transmits measurement or control data which are specific for a first system-internal function assembly as system-external measurement and/or control data. The system-internal interface simulating unit simulates a second system-internal function assembly and forwards the measurement and/or control data which are specific for the first system-internal function assembly as the system-internal measurement and/or control data on condition that an identifier of the second system-internal functional assembly is used. The invention further provides a corresponding medical technology system, a system-external control device and an arrangement for executing the method of the invention.
