The embodiment of the invention relates to a method and device for display control of information in a webpage. The method comprises the steps of receiving a first selecting instruction executed on commodity pictures in the commodity page from a user and determining a first commodity picture, wherein a target commodity is displayed in the first commodity picture; obtaining a second commodity picture from the commodity page through screening, wherein a second commodity serves as a comparison commodity which is of the same type as the target commodity; obtaining multiple first touch spot elements of the first commodity picture through segmentation; obtaining multiple second touch spot elements of the second commodity picture through segmentation; receiving a clicking event aiming at one first touch spot element and acquiring the corresponding second touch pot element according to the clicking event; highlighting the characteristics of the target commodity corresponding to the first touch spot element and the characteristics of the comparison commodity corresponding to the second touch spot element; and/or displaying the parameter information of the characteristics of the target commodity corresponding to the first touch spot element and parameter information of the characteristics of the comparison commodity corresponding to the second touch spot element. In this way, a user can compare commodities of the same type conveniently.
