The invention discloses a shallow water floating drilling platform screw pump installation method which comprises the following steps: S1, a sucker rod is put down into a test tube column, to be more specific, a screw pump rotor is aligned by a screw pump operation platform on a floating drilling platform, and is put down into the test tube column, the sucker rod is connected with the top of the rotor, and the sucker rod is put down into the test tube column until the rotor is put down into a screw pump stator arranged on the lower part of the test tube column; S2, anticollision distance is adjusted, to be more specific, the sucker rod is lifted up or put down, by repeated and multiple times of operation, the rotor is ensured to be abutted to a limiting stopper, the sucker rod is lifted up by a predetermined length, and the distance between the rotor and the limiting stopper is anticollision distance; and S3, a screw pump driving pump head is arranged. The screw pump rotor and the sucker rod are smoothly put down or pulled up from the test tube column by the operation platform, the sucker rod repeatedly puts down or pulls up the test tube column to complete adjustment of the anticollision distance, and the screw pump driving pump head is arranged so as to realize screw pump drainage work on a floating drilling platform.
