A medical article securement system comprising indicia and methods of using same are provided. The indicia can include a representation of a medical article, such that the indicia mimics the appearance of the medical article and provides a visual cue for coupling the medical article to the medical article securement system. The systems can further include a bracket that can comprise the indicia. Methods can include orienting the medical article relative to the medical article securement system in an orientation that matches the indicia, and coupling the medical article to the medical article securement system.
