Summary:The embodiment of the invention discloses a time control for simplifying a selection operation of a time quantum so as to enhance the user experience. The time control disclosed by the embodiment of the invention comprises a time view selection component for determining a time view, wherein the time view comprises more than one of a minute view, an hour view, a day view, a week view, a month view and a year view; and a time selection component for selecting a time in a first time quantum in the time view when a time selection command of a user terminal is acquired and generating the time of a second time quantum according to a predetermined step value corresponding to the time view and the time of the first time quantum. The embodiment of the invention further provides a method for acquiring the time quantum based on the time control for simplifying the selection operation of the time quantum so as to enhance the user experience.
