The invention discloses a method for baking humid steel-making raw materials by using residual heat of steel dreg. The method comprises the following steps that the liquid-state steel dreg of a converter is contained in a steel casting piece dreg tank according to a normal process flow; after the liquid-state steel dreg of the converter is contained and when the external temperature of a dreg tank steel casting piece body is more than 250 DEG C, a travelling crane is commanded to hoist the dreg tank and high-temperature steel dreg in the dreg tank is poured into the other empty dreg tank; when the empty dreg tank is fully filled with hot steel dreg, the empty dreg tank is transported to a dreg treatment room and is treated according to a normal dreg treatment process; the empty dreg tank without the high-temperature steel dreg is put on the flat ground and the humid steel-making raw materials needing to be dried are added into the empty dreg tank by using a loading machine or the travelling crane; after the humid steel-making raw materials are put in the empty dreg tank for 3-6 hours and after the humid raw materials are dried, the dried steel-making raw materials are poured from the dreg tank and the steel-making raw materials are transported to a steel-making station to be normally used.
