Summary:The invention relates to a torque rod for limiting torque, with a frame having a first end region and a second end region in the opposite, longitudinal direction, a first coupling for connecting the frame for conjoint rotation to the drive spindle of an impact wrench, wherein the first coupling is arranged at the first end region of the frame, and a second coupling for the connecting the frame for conjoint rotation to a screw element, particularly to the nut of an expansion bolt, wherein the second coupling is arranged at the second end region of the frame, wherein the frame has at least one tapered torque region, in which the frame has a smaller cross-section than in at least one of the end regions. According to the invention, the frame has a plastic extrusion coating in the tapered torque region.
